Flaxen indoctrination schools separated children from their mothers and prepared them for compulsory roles in society. Boys were taken at eight and girls at twelve.
Curriculum and outcomes
According to Florus's account to Helen, boys learned Flaxen supremacy and the claim that Earth was their birthright. Physically strong boys entered the military, while those with scientific, mathematical, or engineering aptitude were assigned relevant work. Girls stayed until seventeen and were taught that their duty was to bear children for the state.[1]
