Also recorded as: Lillet, Serilda's mother
Family and secrecy
Lillet and Serilda live discreetly under the protection of Serilda's powerful, feared Flaxen father, whose relationship with a human violates Flaxen law. Lillet conceals Serilda's ability even from him, fearing discovery would bring separation and death. Serilda remembers her mother for her compassion and mourns her at night.[1][2]
Legacy
She and Serilda baked bread that Serilda's father delivered to prisoners. She was tortured and shot with him when Serilda was eight. Serilda later sang a song learned from her mother to comfort Megan in the camp and aboard Echo.[3][4][5]
