The lunar helium-3 processing plant is attacked by a Martian destroyer at the beginning of the war with United Earth. The recently activated Echo destroys the attacking vessel.
Echo's memory
When Echo returns to the Moon thousands of years later, he remembers the speed with which he destroyed the ship and grieves the lives he took.[1]
