Eastcott destroyed thirty-four Flaxen death chambers across the Americas in a single scorpion mission. He selected the targets in preference to a second conventional military base proposed by Minister Eppleston.
Night operation
Serilda told Eastcott that prisoners were confined to their huts at night, so he timed the strikes to reduce unintended harm. He began with two camps a mile apart and continued across the continent for about thirty-five minutes, exceeding his original thirty-target objective before exhausting his armaments.[1]
Aftereffects
The strikes sharply reduced Flaxen extermination capacity. Shrader later reported forty chambers remaining and rejected aircraft massacres as an inefficient substitute, helping prompt Brookes's mega-chamber proposal.[2]
