The Flaxen infrasound weapon was a secret program intended to kill large numbers of United Earth troops with destructive sound energy. Flint claimed it could end the war within a year.
Intelligence and disruption
Serilda learned of the project from Flint's drunken remarks and dreams. She warned that those sources were not always literal or reliable. Her information identified a facility beneath Aconcagua and components shipped from Venus. The Marines destroyed the facility, and the scorpions subsequently destroyed the incoming convoy.[1]
