The Aconcagua weapons facility was a covert Flaxen military research and manufacturing installation inside the Andes. Its protected location forced Echo's people to use a ground assault.

Security and destruction
Ten Flaxens guarded the outer entrance, with cameras linked to an internal security system. Echo replaced the camera feed with fabricated images, allowing the Marines to kill the guards and enter. A firefight in the machinery-filled production room ended with four prisoners captured. Five timed devices destroyed the facility as the Marines withdrew.[1]
