Eastcott and Lieutenant Frey struck a rare mineral processing facility in Venus's capital with the upgraded scorpion. The attack demonstrated that the Flaxen homeworld was vulnerable to orbital assault.
Warning to the Flaxus
After destroying the facility near the Hawk's Retreat, Eastcott transmitted directly to Claudius, mocked his authority, and demanded an end to the killings on Earth. He threatened to exact a two-hundred-percent interest rate in Flaxen blood for every reported innocent death. The broadcast ended with United Earth's flag and World Anthem.[1]
