Brookes' nest
Brookes found a secure base containing advanced pistols, exotic materials, and an armada of warships. Its existence puzzled Eastcott and Dimple because the alliance had long been at peace. Records later connected such bases to preparations for the horde.[1][3][4][5]
Refuge and recovery
Cylli transferred there by blue laser during Brookes' attack, and Echo joined her when Brookes believed he had erased him. Eastcott learned its coordinates from Echo's engine-core signal. Inside he and Silver found dozens of small, glossy black warships with swept-back wings.[2][3][4]
