Flaxen persecution
Flaxen ideology describes humans as inferior beings and uses the insult Zoon. Contemporary occupation regimes enslave able-bodied captives and kill those judged unproductive. Human–Flaxen children demonstrate that reproduction between the groups remains possible.[1][3][4][5]
Survival and rebuilding
Before the Titan, humanity numbers approximately sixteen billion across the solar system. A small naturally immune minority survives, followed by further losses to starvation and infrastructure collapse. On Earth, repopulation across mixed communities greatly reduces the significance of inherited racial distinctions.[2][6]
Relationship to the Flaxens
Serilda argued that the Flaxens remained Human despite changes acquired on Venus, pointing to the existence of children born to Flaxen and Human parents. Her own mixed ancestry combined Flaxen strength and emotional intensity with a commitment to the survival of Earth's people.[7]
