Zoon is the dehumanizing term Flaxens apply to humans and captives of mixed ancestry. Its use reflects the occupiers' belief that non-Flaxens are inferior beings.

Use in Camp Skadi
Officers use the term while abusing prisoners and treating camp labor as beneath Flaxen dignity. Flaxen law prohibits sexual fraternization with those it classifies this way.[1][2]
Law and usage
Serilda described showing mercy to Zoons as one of the gravest Flaxen crimes. Flaxen rulers and officers used the term during threats, extermination planning, and negotiations with Brookes.[3][4][5]
