Megan's protectors
A Flaxen hunter who was also a politician and his wife sheltered Megan for three years after her mother's murder. They treated her as their daughter and hid her in their attic. The authorities knew of the dissenting faction and used dogs during searches; Megan was discovered, her protectors arrested, and she was sent to Camp Skadi.[1]
