A Flaxen hunter and his wife sheltered Megan for three years after her mother's death. They opposed the war and treated her as their daughter while hiding her from the authorities.
Discovery
The couple lived in a secluded cabin and concealed Megan in the attic. Search dogs found her when the authorities investigated suspected shelters for Humans. The couple were immediately arrested and thirteen-year-old Megan was taken to Camp Skadi. Their later fate was not established by Megan's account.[1]
