After the first hawk attack, Echo returned to Cylli for protection and repair. The journey at twenty percent drive power took about five hours.
Blocked shipyards
Cylli admitted Echo after receiving Eastcott's command code, but her shipyards had been sealed by Brookes using a quantum key. The return also revealed that Brookes had obtained ships by impersonating Eastcott and murdered Andrew Copley. Helen worked to build Cylli's trust while Hastings prepared a contingency mission to capture Brookes.[1]
A new relationship
Helen discovered Cylli's child avatar and learned about the cruelty inflicted on her after the Titan. Their growing bond enabled Helen to warn Cylli that Brookes was a threat.[1][2]
