Battle and destruction
Equipped with Elaea Brookes's new coating, Odin emerges from Jupiter's atmosphere and attacks Echo with railguns. Formidable intervenes and defeats a vessel Thomas considers at least his own ship's equal. Odin's captain offers surrender and pleads for her crew, while its AI begs Formidable to stop; United Earth's no-clemency policy leads Thomas to order its destruction.[1][2]
