Africa becomes a principal theater of the Flaxen conquest after the invaders cross the Atlantic from the Americas. Their armies move north toward Europe.
Strategic position
By Echo's return, United Earth holds North Africa while Flaxen forces advance from the south. Echo recalls seeing African wildlife from Earth orbit during his earliest days.[1][2][3]
Turning and reversal
As the mental operation took effect, tanks stopped and aircraft attacked Flaxen forces that continued the offensive. Brookes later ordered Vidar to fire rail guns across the frontier, killing both Human and Flaxen troops and interrupting the advance toward peace.[5][6][7]
